Thesis proposal submission Thesis proposals must be submitted to members of the Graduate Committee one week in advance of the meeting (e.g., if the committee meets on Wednesday, proposals must be submitted by Wednesday of the previous week). Please review the instructions carefully. The maximum length of 1000 words for the proposal (exclusive of title and selected bibliography) is strictly enforced; if your proposal is more than 1000 words, it wll be returned to you unreviewed. In order to have your thesis proposal considered, you must submit hard copies of your proposal (to the department mailboxes of committee members) AND an electronic copy to Dr. Rhodes (jrhodes@csusb.edu) by the deadline. Students submitting thesis proposals must be enrolled for the current quarter. Late submissions will not be considered. The required cover sheet and instructions for submission of thesis proposals to the Graduate Committee are available here in pdf format.
